Chao Yang Park - 朝阳公园
The weather is nice out, I went to Chao Yang Park to check out cherry blossom. Cherry blossom isn't as impressive, however, there are a lot of unknown flowers in full bloom, very nice. Not sure what they are, so I took some pictures, attaching here.
There are a lot of children, elders walking around, it feels nice, very lively. It reminds me of walking around central park, only that central park has much more and bigger trees, that can only come with time. We passed a ginkgo grove, in years, the ginkgo grove will be like those in Peking U., the famous golden ginkgo leaves paved alley in autumn, it was one of my favorite places in school. I have seen a lot of trees, flowers planted in the city, 100 years from now, Beijing will be a very beautiful city.
On the way back, we passed through lucky street (好运街), a street that is known for foreign cuisine in Beijing, just outside of Chao Yang Park. I took Jon and Mike there when Mike finally had enough of Chinese food after a month of eating out. We went to an Italian restaurant, I believe it is Elisa's Italian Restaurant (爱丽莎意大利餐厅). I warned them that it could be very "Chinese-ized" Italian, just like "Americanized" Chinese food in US. We had pizza and pasta there, it, surprisingly, turned out pretty good, even Mike, a real Italian, thought it was pretty good. A friend of mine told me there is a good Japanese restaurant on the same street: 晴海, will try it out sometime.
Who can tell me what is this?

Qinghai is good. Especially after a heavy work, eat some japanese food, share some stories with one or two friends together. Though I don't like Japanese fish, but the environment is very special. Try it in a cold night.
