Burkhart In Town
Our NY office was very popular last week, in addition to new employees starting, several of us are in town from CA, including Burkhart from our Malibu office! We had to share desks and have "meetings" in hallways. Frans and Melissa pushed hard on deals so that they can be "at clients" to save spaces for us visitors. I guess it is really effective, as we signed two client contracts and one service contract in the same week! 
We decided to celebrate by having drinks at Union bar. Jon and I were late as we had to talk to an investor. When I stepped into the bar, I saw a table with FreeWheelers, I told myself "hah, I found the team!". Then I turn around, another table full of FreeWheelers! Then I turn around, and more...Half of the bar was occupied by us!! While I was amazed by our growth, Jon came over and told me the exact same experience he just had...
We extended the invite to a few clients of ours, then a regular drink turned into FreeWheel's first client party. We had a great time, I mean: REALLY GREAT time...I asked a few pictures from Laura to help us remember the happy time.

Let's see, a great combination of talents from our Sales, PS, SE, VIEs and FreeWheel's clients! Nice to finally meet in person, Jeb and Joey!
What can I say, they are just sooo happy, aren't you jealous Welcome, Chris, our first east coast SE!
And finally, Laura, Laura...A perfect example of what a great account manager should be. Always ontime, always followup, always organized, always remember all the tedious details, and always be calm and in control regardless what happens...You feel so good when she says:"Don't worry, I will take care of it!" I just can not think of a better example of how account should be managed...A toast to her, our very first and very button-up AM! A toast to us, we are so lucky to find her!
Seriously, to be able to work with such a talented group around the globe, building a cool product solving a real problem in a big market, what else can you ask for!!
