the foggy California
Alright, I call Palo Alto home, however, the truth is, I have not really spent much time here at all. I moved here last year after I quit DoubleClick. Ever since then, I have spent most of my time in Beijing - Building a dream team for FreeWheel, as you know. And when I am back to the states, I travel all over the place, including stop by NYC from time to time. So, honestly, I have not been at home much at all.
California is a sunny state, people move here because it is sunny all the time. You probably don't believe me when I say I don't really like sunshine at all. - Weird, huh? And I still moved here! Well, don't be surprised, I am a weirdo myself
I prefer cloudy and drizzly days, if I have a choice. However, in Silicon Valley, it is pretty much sunny all the time...Hence, you can imagine how excited I was this morning, when I drove up highway 280, it was foggy! I opened the window, indulged myself in the fog, let the highway guide me up and down...The fog in the valley has thousand faces, following the turn of the highway, it would be completely sunny for a few seconds, another turn comes, the fog would come right back at you...That is what makes it more interesting, the surprised change around the corner, the unpredictability! I am heading back to NYC next week, and I know I am going to miss the fog in California!
P.S.: I was so excited that I forgot to take a picture. Will do next time.
