Video Integration Team Building Night at Beijing
I had the opportunity to be invited to the VI team building night last Friday. It was raining and the street was packed by cars due to the starting of Chinese mid-autumn festival and national holidays, our spirits were not impact at all.
The night started from a dinner at 苏浙汇 , a nice ShangHainese restaurant I was quite fond of. Peter was playing with his "sophisticated" camera to get ready for his reunion with his son all the time, got quite a few very nice pictures, borrow here for my blog...
The big difference between outing in China and US: you never need to worry about people drinking too much...Barely finishing one beer, everybody was done
The food was great as always.
Then Gregory took us to the tea house right behind the KunTai hotel, where he played piano. The tea house turned out to be a bar, not like a Chinese tea house I imagined. I learned that Gregory has been playing piano since he was 4! Free also told me Chris commented that listening Gregory playing piano is like listening to him talking to you. So we all tried to figure out what he was telling us...He did play more vividly after a few more beer, maybe he was telling us the German beer we got was good?

We ended up spending the night at the tea house turned bar, didn't go to HouHai (后海) as planned. That German beer is indeed excellent, I forgot the name though...
The following team photo was taken from my cheap camera. Big difference compare to Peter's expensive taste.

And another one, the energetic team at midnight!

A few of them were not ready to call it a night, so they went somewhere. What happened afterward is not up to me to tell, however, there is one interesting picture that was passed around over the weekend. Not sure whether it is the result of the night out, or the early bird trip...

To the great time!
